A rumor of a potential KILO IDO on PancakeSwap debunked as a gas fee optimization update

A rumor of a potential KiloEx initial DEX offering on PancakeSwap was debunked after further clarification revealed that the transaction was a gas optimization update, not a new IDO launch. On March 27, on-chain analyst ai_9684xtpa speculated that PancakeSwap ( CAKE ) might be preparing to launch an IDO for the KiloEx (KILO) token based on his observation that the same address that created KiloEx (KILO) IDO on Binance Wallet also set up an IDO event on PancakeSwap . However, another analyst, canhua1023 , later clarified that the address that created the KiloEx IDO event did so only to optimize gas fees, reducing it from 256 to 128, which debunked the rumor of a new IDO on PancakeSwap. Unlike the Binance Wallet IDO which requires BNB for participation, the suspected IDO on PancakeSwap seemed to require CAKE. Based on this, ai_9684xtpa said that PancakeSwap might be preparing to launch a KILO IDO separately from the one happening within the Binance Wallet for KILO token, stating “Hyperliquid just had an incident yesterday, so it makes sense to list a Perp DEX on the BSC ecosystem while the attention is still high. Hahaha” With the rumor now busted, it’s clear that PancakeSwap isn’t launching a new IDO for KILO at this time. The “Create IDO” transaction was just a gas optimization update.
