However, the analyst argued that it may be time to invest in altcoins, stating that the market, which has been trading in the red zone for several weeks, is showing signs of a great opportunity for altcoin investors. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost shared a chart showing altcoin trading volumes, a suitable tool for determining ideal periods for altcoin trading. This chart compares the total 30-day average trading volume of altcoins to their yearly averages. At this point, the analyst said that the 30-day trading volume average in altcoins has recently fallen below the annual volume average, and this decline has historically been a good time to buy altcoins. At this point, the analyst stated that it is time to start a dollar cost averaging (DCA) strategy on altcoins. According to the analyst, it may be a good time to start buying altcoins. Finally, the analyst noted that these levels in altcoin trading volume were last reached in September 2023, just after the end of the bear market, and reminded that altcoin prices started to rise after this date. “Currently, the 30-day moving average is below the 365-day moving average in terms of the altcoin volume indicator, and we have historically entered a buy zone. Interestingly, the last time we reached these levels was in September 2023, right after the bear market ended.
