BlackRock continues to assert dominance over the cryptocurrency ETF landscape, with fresh data showing the asset manager deployed well over $1 billion into Bitcoin and Ethereum on October 6, 2025. According to Lookonchain ETF flow data reviewed by Finbold, BlackRock added 6,447 BTC ($805 million) in a single day through its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), lifting total Bitcoin holdings to 783,768 BTC worth around $97.9 billion. On the Ethereum side, the iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) recorded inflows of 45,672 ETH ($212.9 million), bringing total Ethereum holdings to 3,933,864 ETH, valued at over $18.3 billion. Of this, BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for 85% of flows. Its nearest rival, Fidelity’s FBTC, saw just 567 BTC enter on the same day, while ARK’s ARKB added 289 BTC. Ethereum ETFs told a similar story. The group as a whole absorbed 51,653 ETH ($240.8 million) in daily inflows, but BlackRock captured nearly 88% of the total. Fidelity’s FETH ranked a distant second with 1,248 ETH, followed by Grayscale’s ETHE with 832 ETH. Weekly flows confirm leadership Zooming out to the past seven days, Bitcoin ETFs collectively added 26,526 BTC ($3.31 billion). BlackRock’s IBIT alone brought in 15,097 BTC (≈ $1.89 billion), representing more than half of the entire market’s inflows. Ethereum ETFs posted a weekly net inflow of 298,921 ETH ($1.39 billion), with BlackRock’s ETHA contributing 158,794 ETH ($739 million), again over 50% of the total.
