Market sentiments surrounding artificial intelligence cryptocurrency are mixed, as many market participants remain uncertain about AI-backed currencies. In a recent survey carried out by Coingecko , 46.9% of crypto investors leaned bullish, 19.9% maintained some uncertainty, and 27.0% stood firm on their bullish position. On the flip side, 24.1% of crypto pundits expressed skepticism, with some being fully bearish and others seeming undecided about crypto products this year. Sentiments remained almost identical with AI token prices, as 44.4% maintained a bearish outlook, while 26.4% of participants were doubtful. The consistency in bullish and bearish responses may indicate that crypto proponents are not separating trading and investing potential from the budding technology of artificial intelligence. The collective outlook for all respondents hints at heightened market expectations for AI cryptocurrencies and their use cases to grow beyond their infancy. The survey also found that a third of market participants, particularly 29.0% and 29.3% of respondents, took a neutral stance on AI’s product and token price potential in 2025. Interestingly, only 46.8% of the self-proclaimed pioneers of the Crypto AI adoption were bullish on crypto AI products. Around 44.8% of these pioneers were bullish on token prices, while 28.9% and 30% were bearish on AI crypto products and future token prices. According to data from Coingecko, artificial intelligence coins are valued at a whopping $23.6 billion by market capitalization. Leading AI crypto tokens include Near Protocol (NEARUSD), Internet Computer (ICP), and Bittensor (TAO), trading at $3, $6.09, and $268.94, respectively. While the crypto AI ecosystem is still fairly new, the broader AI industry, which is expected to soar in market value, could catalyze the adoption of AI crypto products in the long term.
