US States Push Forward on Pro-Crypto Legislation

Lawmakers across several U.S. states are ramping up efforts to integrate cryptocurrency into government operations, with new bills and proposals gaining traction this week in North Carolina, New York, and Arizona. North Carolina's House Bill 920 proposes allowing the use of cryptocurrencies for tax payments and transactions. In New York, Assembly Bill A7788 would more broadly allow residents to pay state fees in crypto. Meanwhile, Arizona's Senate Bill 1236, which aims to protect home crypto mining and AI operations, is advancing to the governor’s desk.
