Keep an Eye on This Date for XRP – It Could Heralder the Approval of a Spot ETF in the US

Purpose Investments has announced the launch of the Purpose XRP ETF following approval from Canada’s regulatory authority, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). This new exchange-traded fund (ETF), which will offer direct spot access to XRP, will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The fund will be offered to investors under three different tickers: XRPP (CAD hedged), XRPP.B (CAD), and XRPP.U (USD). According to the official statement, the Purpose XRP ETF will provide direct exposure to XRP, which runs on the XRP Ledger and supports low-cost, fast cross-border payments. The fund can also be held in registered investment accounts such as TFSAs and RRSPs, which offer tax advantages in Canada.
